June 14th marks the two- hundred- fiftieth year of the founding of the Continental Army, our first military force It should be a day to honor the memory of thousands of Americans; sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, uncle, aunts and grandparents, who served or are serving in all of the armed forces throughout the history of our country.
We fought a war to free ourselves from an oppressive monarchy and established a free and democratic country. Let us not forget what that cost us in lives. Let us not cave in to today’s demands to abandon our democracy and bow down to another monarch.
Peace
